I'm first going to start off with the whole expected "I thought this would be a fun idea" paragraph. My first three semesters at RWU were quite mundane and boring, but since January 26th, 2010 my life has sprung into action. I have joined Student Senate and PRSSA, I'm taking classes I love, and I stopped doing the things that my friends pressured me to do, such as Add Nothing, being a math tutor, and other such nonsense that is nothing like me.

These are some things I can't promise about my blog:

1. That I will update often - the whole "mundane life" thing is actual irony. On Mondays I go 9am to 10pm with only an hour break to eat/shower from 12-1, Tuesdays I average 3-4 meetings, Wednesdays I have two classes then 6 weekly meetings, Thursdays I have three classes and two weekly meetings, while Friday's are my day off in a way I still have one class and two weekly meetings.

2. That I won't hurt your feelings - the purpose of this blog is to be blunt, so I'm sorry if I seem to bash your view on something, I'm sorry, it's just the way I think

3. That I won't curse - most of my friends are guys, I have a sailor's mouth unfortunately

I can't really think of other things that I can't promise.
But here are some things I can promise:

1. To be truthful - No one wants to hear a big fat lie, and if I'm wrong about some fact PLEASE let me know, I'm always open for debate/corrections

2. I will not drop names - I will rename people for the fact I don't want to damage anyone's future, or damage anyone's rep when I have a personal problem with them

3. To be interesting - I don't want this to be another rant blog about "how much my personal life sucks", I want it to be enjoyable to read from an outsider, whether its something debatable or just plain something you'd send to someone else because its something they may want to read


I think that's all for now. I'm probably going to update later tonight, but again, no promises.



EDIT: I wrote this post over a year ago. I have written posts since, but have decided to delete every one since it broke every rule I made. Today (March 29, 2011) I start anew.
